Character description
Ranwor is tall with straggly blonde hair running down his face and neck. He is neither skinny nor muscular but something tells you it would be best not to cross him. There is a scar on his left cheek, of which he wont talk about, it seems that only his consort Lneren knows of its origins and she too prefers not to speak about it. His clothes are smart and well kept, he wears a crimson shirt with top button always undone. Over that is a faded pin stripe waistcoat with bone buttons. Along with black trousers he wears a knee length over coat. The only piece of jewellery that can be seen is Ranwors pocket hunter watch, which he is never seen without.
Ranwor's creator, Maetria, found him on a cold night with the onset of rain, and had started talking to him. Ranwor's human name was once Tim and was out camping with some friends who had gone off to find more wood while he watched over the fire. He had been completely taken in by this strange woman who had so suddenly appeared, that he didn't think twice about following her when she beckoned to him.
She had gone out of sight, hidden in a thick gorse bush and Tim followed. The next thing he knew was that Maetria had fastened her mouth onto his neck and he could feel her teeth piercing his skin. He tried in vain to fight her off but he just got weaker by every second. Soon she had him pinned to the floor with her clawed hand piercing his neck. He begged her to let him go, choking on blood that was flowing freely from his mouth, but she just laughed and merely took pleasure from watching him struggle.
Eventually, Maetria became tired and bent down to Tim's neck and completed the turning. All night he thrashed around, twisting and turning as the sickness rose within him, he couldn't rid himself of the feeling of death but not dying. Occasionally Maetria would whisper in his ear "Can you feel that?" and "It's too late, I've woken up the demon within you." Tim could feel it, that feeling of his human side, was slowly changing. He couldn't cope with it, he just couldn't bear it. It was then that Maetria pulled out a pocket watch with a mirror lid and showed Tim his reflection. He took one look at it and screamed. A shattering scream, high pitched and chilling to the bone. His reflection had suddenly changed and it wasn't pleasant. Maetria smiled, her creation was almost complete. With one final spasm, Tim fell back, air catching in his throat, choking. His eyes closed and his body relaxed as his mind decended into a sea of loathing, loathing what he had become.
Maetria slid the razor sharp mirror lid across her wrist, slitting it. With freely flowing blood she held it above Tim's mouth as it trickled in. He immediately responded and within seconds was drinking a large volume of blood from Maetria, so much so she had to kick him away. Raising his head from the dirt, Tim's eyes glowed blood red and faded to blue. He stood, broken, and looked at Maetria, he knelt.

"Your name is Lord Ranwor, you are my Ducis-Vernula Cruento and you will do as I command. But first you shall learn to hunt....
