Character description
Brought up as an only child once known as Anne. Anne was always a good child, she did well in school, obeyed her parents and followed the teachings of the christian church. Until one day on her way home from school she was spotted by an elder Vampire. Her purity and goodness to him was like a beacon blazing in the darkness. He knew he had to take that purity.
From then on he dogged her steps, lurking in every shadow, waiting for his chance. But she rarely ventured out at night choosing to obey her parents wishes. It was only on her last day of school at age 18 when her parents had given her special permission to stay out late for her leaving ball that she fell into his sadistic hands.
He chose not to kill her immediately but rather to kidnap her and bring her to his home. There he kept her prisoner for many days. During this time he starved and tortured her and took pleasure from her. By the end she was begging for death but as a last cruelty he changed her forever into a creature of the night. Souless and alone.
When she awoke she was filled with a deep rage. For all the things he had taken from her, for her lost innocence. Taking a chair from her room in his house she sought out his resting place and, smashing the chair, stabbed him through the heart.
But the rage did not pass with this act of vengeance. It grew stronger. She found she had a taste for violence and left her purity behind. Taking a new name for herself, "Maetria", She founded a clan and set out to cause chaos and devestation for all human kind. She took the title "Virgo Cruento" for herself as clan leader meaning "Bloody Virgin" the only indication of her former life.
