The Vampire Shadow was once a member of a proud and noble race who where once prosperous amoug the people. This race is now all but extinct except for a few who managed to avoid the prosecution that came with the changing of time.
Deep within his inner sanctuary amoung some of the last survivors of his race, the vampire now known as Shadow was deep in mediation with his people, when a hunting party from the clan Cruentus led by Ranwor and his newly made vampire Beahumut assulted the anceint ruin that this dieing race called home.
There was a feirce battle but the vampires supirior strength and speed was the deciding factor in the fight, the vampire now known as Shadow was fataly wounded on the floor, Beahumut felt pity for him, once of noble blood now on the brink of Death.
Beahumut gave him the option, to live as a vampire or to die out as the rest of his kind had. Shadow chose to live and was turned by Beahumut into a creature of the night.
He discarded his old name, it no longer had any meaning, and he took up the name, Immortal Shadow for the new never ending darkness that he was about to endure.
