Greetings, weary one. Did I startle you? I beg your pardon, I have become quite silent during the last century, my training has started to become more and more a habit.
Who am I? Sorry, but I'm not really a who anymore, more accuratly a what. Yes, I am a vampyre, a lost soul, a damned one..... but I have come to enjoy it!
You see, I was partly chosen, partly I chose. I had heard about these vampyres, dead but never passing to the other side of the river, so too say. These tales fascinated me, so I decided to search for them. And I found one. His name is Reawer de la Cat, some 400 years old now. I found his hiding place, but not him. Suddenly I heard a voice, but I couldn't hear from where:
"Hold! Who are you?"
"Who is that?" I replyed, failing to hide the fear in my voice.
"Are you sure you wish to know? Once i tell you, you will never return."
"I have sought your kind for some time now, I have already chosen my path. I will not accept to have come here and gain nothing!"
"Hmmm.....sought us? Interesting."
The next thing I know is pain, it felt like there was a battle for my soul between two forces.
WhenIi woke up, I saw a pale man in front of me, and with a smile he said:
"I am Reawer de la Cat, and I welcome you to the truth."
Ever since I have been learning from him, fighting with him, following him....my Master.
