Vampire Karo
Character description
Karo almost appears to still be a child of daylight, unlike his darker brethren. His hair is a silky, sandy blonde, hanging in an unkempt, shaggy mess that obscures one of his eyes. His eyes are sky blue, filled with everpresent sorrow. His skin is fair and pale, unmarred by any sort of scar or marking. He is tall and slender, standing at a height of 5'10 and weighing approximately 135 lbs.
Karo also dresses in a manner unlike other vampires. He wears loose, flowing robes of the purest white, with two red crucifix dyed into the fabric covering either side of his chest. His arms are veiled from sight, but the skin from his palms to his elbows is wrapped in bandages, leaving only his slender fingers exposed.
Long ago, when Karo was only a young vampire, he made the mistake that many younglings of his kind are apt to make. He fell in love with a human woman. Her name was Ayame, and to Karo, nothing could compare to his angel. They became lovers quickly, but Karo never could tell Ayame his true nature...
Until the day he decided to ask for her hand in marriage. Solemnly, he told her that he was a vampire, but explained how, since he had met her, he'd taken to feeding off livestock instead of humans. Still, Ayame was filled with terror and ordered that he should leave her sight and never return.
The normally stoic Karo was filled with rage and hurt, and in this state he sought to force Ayame to become a vampire. He drained her blood, and offered the choice... but she adamantly refused him, and died in his arms.
Karo grew mad with grief, and carved his lover's name into his arms with holy artifacts, so that the wounds would never heal. He used a spell to trap Ayame's soul into a jar of beautiful blue glass, waiting for another body to come along for him to force her soul into.
Alone, the vampire grieves...
