Azalaya is the wife of the late Ashley Silverthorne, a wizard of great power. After his death Azalaya went looking for Death and found it at the hand of Orion Blackwell, but it wasn't the kind of death she was looking for. Orion too had known Ashley Silverthorne, but not as a friend. The chance to cheat Ashley out of seeing his wife again at the feet of their god was something that Orion could not pass up. Now Azalaya wanders the world torn between the bloodlust that all vampires feel and the love for her husband. She wages war against those she can fight hoping against hope to bring to a close her endless existence. Her lust for death burns within her heart - her own and her enemy's. The longer she lives in this world the angrier she becomes, and she fights harder against the enemy of the vampires. Who will win? No one knows the final outcome, but we know who should be afraid - the werewolves.
