Character description
Viridian Demesne Grew up on a farm with his Mother, Father, and his younger brother Desmond until the age of 19 when he moved into the city with a friend of his, Alaxander Venati, to begin training as a squire. Much of that year was spent waisting his parents hard earned gold rather than earning any real education, and it wasn't until Alaxander mysteriously dissapeared during one of thier daily escapades in the city, that Viridian mellowed out enough to worry about his training.
When Viridian turned twenty however, he recieved a Message that his mother and father were dead, and that his brother had completely dissapeared. Naturally, this news effectively destroyed his chances of ever finishing his knighthood, and though his tutor begged him to remain (For Viridian had become the Knights greatest pupil in the months after Venati's dissapearance) he was forced to leave the city and return to the home that had been left to him through his parents will... pennyless.
Upon returning home, he found a curious letter from his brother in the basement of his house... the very room his parents had been murdered in! The letter explained that Desmond had been bitten by a strange wolflike creature in the night, and had killed thier mother and father in a strange trancelike state of rage.
Viridian saw this act as a betrayal of blood, and the letter as simple minded lunacy. That day, Viridian vowed vengence on Desmond for the desacration of his life, and that vow has fueled him ever since. In his rage, the young man searched frantically for his brother, but was unable to find more than tufts of grey fur or a beastlike footprint in his brother's wake.
Viridian's search eventually led to an individual calling himself Viktor who, after hearing the young man's story in a pub one night, promised Viridian the strength, as well as the funds, to hunt down and kill the Murderous Desmond. Two hours later, as Viridian was slowely bleeding to death from two puncture wounds to the side of the neck, he began to realize he may have gotten himself into more than he had accounted for, and that his brother's attacker from the dark may well have been a similar creature to this Viktor. Viridian despaired then, he realized that he would never find Desmond now that he was dying... that his brother would go unpunished for his many crimes...
But Death was not the end for Viridian, and the following night he woke to the same face that had taken his life only hours eariler. Viktor explained to Viridian that he was an Immortal Elder of a Group known as the Underworld Vampires, Viridian was skeptical at first, but it did not take long for the obvious signs of Vampirism to prove the truth in Viktor's words.
Viktor explained that Desmond had become a Lycan, a warewolf of vicious reputation, and that Viridian's request for strength could only be answered by adopting him into the Underworlds Vampiric ranks. Both thankful for the gift, and enhanced by his new found strengths, Viridian took to his abilities with focused determination, keeping sure to study his own weaknesses as well.
In time he would learn that it was also Desmond whom had killed Alexander Venati, and though Viridian's hunt for his feril brother has taken a backseat to his devotion to his clan eldars, Viridian's lust for Lycan blood can only be described as Vicereal. He treats all wolves as if they were his brother, and the delusion only makes him stronger.
