Markus was born with 2 other brothers, Viktor and william. One day while markus was looking for a toy in his attic a bat flew out and bit him in the neck. Seeing as he thought it was just a regular cut or sting he patched it up and went to bed. But his brother william had been attacked and bitten by a wolf earlier that day when he was playing in the woods with markus.
it was the dead of night when markus woke and had a sensacional taste for lycan blood not knowing that there was a lycan inside the very house he was staying in. So he went searching, but when he went downstairs the house was wrecked and his father and mother were dead.So right when he was going to leave to search for his brothers, his father and mother turned into raging lycans. Markus fought them off until he had killed them.
After that, he went searching to find tacconelli and kill him. but not knowing his brother viktor had gotten away right before william bit him. markus ran into the sewers to look for william but instead found viktor dieing not from being bitten but from being wounded. That's when markus offer viktor the chance to become a vampire and to lock william away for all time.
1 year later.......
Markus and Viktor searched far and wide adding new people to help stop the breed of uncotrolable lycans. Until one day they came upon a village destroyed by william, before the humans turned they burned the bodies.Not knowing that william was close by, before the bodies burned fully the humans started turning.So markus retreated only to find william trying to be takened down by crossbows.He could not handle to see his brother killed so they imprisoned william somewhere no one knows. Not even Markus.
