A newly turned vamp, Axem tends to avoid the ongoing war as much as possible and sticks to his own devices. However, he does mildly train his body and mind for the inevitable confrontations that life has in store.
As a human, he was an otaku by nature, and centralized all aspects of his life around his fandom. Two years before he was turned, he founded a dojo which taught a thus far unkown fighting styie known as Otaku Shinken (The Fist of the Dork Star). He is also the self-proclaimed "Last of the Dub Fans".
Axem bears little special or unique characteristics that set him out from the crowd; it has always been his philosophy that descretion is the better part of valor. However, he can always be seen wearing baggy clothing and carrying what he calls his "Bag of Holding", which is a simple-looking back-pack of infinate holding capability. What exactly is in that bag is anyone's guess...
