Vampire Dylanius
Character description
Many years ago, a young man known as Aranrhod was mistakenly burnt alive, believed to have used witchcraft to curse his village's fishing boats.
Aranrhod was an outcast, a loner of his village, a sea faring community. Although he was a very capable fisherman, he was often ostracized and humiliated by his fellow sailors, and would never receive any credit for his labours, often losing out to the more popular men of the village.
One night, the best fishermen went to sea to stock up. However, Aranrhod didn't go, he didn't want any more to do with them. Whilst at sea, a terrible maelstrom whipped up and smashed the fishing boat against the rough cliffs, drowning all the souls aboard it. The rest of the village assumed Aranrhod was responsible and had used black wizardry to slay his brethren.
He was dragged from his home, his faithful dog Lucius following, biting and growling at all who'd touch him. A great pyre was quickly erected and Aranrhod was thrust upon it. The tinder was lit, and Aranrhod began to burn alive. With his dying breath, he made a pact with the Dark Lord of the Underworld to grant him the power to destroy all who had falsely accused him and had been the cause of his demise.
The Dark Lord heard his plight, and granted him his dying wish. He returned from the dead as Dylanius, a vampire, to hunt the living until the end of the world. He began his insatiable bloodlust with his village, leaving none alive, draining them all of their life blood. But he didn't stop there, he vowed to find and destroy every man that falsely accused another of witchcraft. With his faithful hound Lucius at his side, he bagen his never ceasing journey of despair and destruction.
