Ailaen was never a normal child. From the moment she was born, her parents couldn't help but feel that she would tread a different path than they. It scared them, and they never loved her. No-one did, and when she recieved a rather unusual present on her thirteenth birthday, all who kenw her were rather relieved that she was finally leaving. As for Ailaen, she really didn't care about her so called "family". A couple of week after she was bitten, a very vicious group of werewolves descended onto her old village, and ripped every person in it to bits, leaving only the bones behind. The young vampiress denied any connection with the event, although she did say that they deserved it. Now, she hunts the brutish werewolves with her clan, keeping to the shadows and using her gift to wreak havoc with their minds. She never lets anyone see her face, but some say that she's actually quite beautiful, and that were she human, she could wrap any man round her little finger simply by looking his way. One thing's for sure; if any human or lycan sees a pair of glowing eyes watching them from a dark corner, it might be in their best interest to hope that it's someone other than Ailaen. If indeed it is her, they'll be lucky to die.
