Most people confuse her gender, she acts much like a man, and she looks somewhat female but no one can really tell with her get-out-of-my-face-right-now attitude, only being polite and even loving towards her friends, but cruel and usually sadistic to new people.
Profile : Xantho is the human container for a demon called the "Rokubi Raiju", meaning the six tailed thunder animal. At a very young age she was the best child ninja in her village, and her wanting to learn all ninja techniques caused the neighboring village to have interest in her, recruiting her for an upcoming war against her own village. She thought it wasn't a bad idea, she needed a sensei that wasn't always busy doing missions so she accepted. In the war at the tender age of twelve she was pit against her sensei in the war and was beaten near death, after fleeing from the village she came across another ninja village, she trained there for two years before her sensei died in another mission, fleeing yet again from the memories she came across one other village. There she trained for three years and became a jounin quickly, becoming best friends with her sensei and her teammates. But when an enemy war occured she fought in it bravely and without hesitation. In front of her eyes it seemed her teammate had been killed by an enemy ninja, but he was only knocked out. Nariko became so enraged at this that the Rokubi Raiju demon in her took control, she had no idea she was the human container for a demon and did not know how to control it, she soon slaughtered the enemy ninja but was unable to return to her former human self, her teammates then tried to calm her down but to no avail, having to use force instead. Unaware of what she was doing in her demon state she slaughtered the teammate she had tried to protect and her whole team as well. After falling into a slight coma for three monthes she found herself in the hospital with scars littering her body. After that she was sentanced to death by the leader of the village for killing two of her teammates and supposedly using witch craft. After being beaten near death yet again she transformed into her demon form, enraged, and escaped. She soon woke up alone and realized what she had done, everyone she ever loved or cared for either betrayed her or she betrayed them. So she became heartless and cruel, completing the most violent missions for anyone who paid well enough, showing mercy to no one, man, woman, or child. She made her own village and stayed alone and outcasted for two years with her own village constructed and thousands of followers. But when a man named Severus Gimora befriended her her heart thawed from it's hate and she became able to feel again, thinking that this man saved her from herself she protected him in anyway she could, soon her clan disbanded and she became like she once was, happy, cheerful, and polite. From then she cared more for human lives then she had for over seven years.
