Character description
Gabriel DeTori was born in a small village to a poor unwed mother whose pregnancy was considered an abomination by the pagan community. The priest of the village told the mother the fate she would suffer if her child were allowed to live, yet she choose the childs life over her own, leaving him in her parents care. A couple of years later, the priest returned for the child and the grandparents handed him over without complaint. The priest then began a ceremony to offer the boy to the Gods. Alas, fate chose to let him live, for a great pack of werewolves attacked before the priest had the chance to spill the kneeling boy's blood upon the soft earth. But during the attack, the blood lust of the wolves allowed no one to survive unscathed...
Gabriel awoke the next morning with his midsection and head bandaged while in the home of a stranger, a stranger that happened to take a great interest in the child who would soon carry on his legacy. The stranger then recalled the nights events for the child and told him of the future that awaited him.
Once completely healed, Gabriel became like a son to the Elder/mentor and worked alongside the clan's members until he was old enough to go out on his own. The clan held a ceremony for him, and with their tradition, a name change. He thought long and hard and finally came up with Hephaestus.
Now at twenty years of age, Hephaestus has begun his own clan.

Hephaestus' were form is that of a great blue-black furred demon with piercing white eyes, and a tuff of white fur along his tail and ears. He stands about 7 feet tall and weighs 375lbs.
Yet when not a creature of the night, Hephaestus roams the streets of nearby towns, hoping to find potential allies/victims in the war against the night ghost. He wears a long black hooded cloak,black boots, and black leather pants with a thin, ragged white short-sleeved shirt. He stands about 5'8 and weighs approximately 180 lbs. His hair is ravenblack and his eyes are of a striking ice blue hue with a purplish tint around them.
