Created by the goddess Artemis, Artemis Darkheart was created as a warrior to defend women from the brutailty of ill-minded men. She lived this life for a hundred years constantly battling to free opressed women and to build Artemis' army. Until the day she met her destiny, on that day she was thought to be dead. Artemis mourned the loss of her great hero and encased her in a glass tomb. Darkheart never aged, she stayed as beautiful as she had been the day she died.
Three thousand years later, a young warrior came upon the tomb in his travels. He was so moved by Darkheart's beauty that he offered his life so that she my live on. Though she got a second chance to live, she always wondered what he was like, constantly haunted by dreams of the young warrior. After three years of disturbing visions and dreams, Darkheart could not go on, seeing no point in living, she begged the goddess to grant her purpose once again, to send her someone to ease these nightmares. It was dark,moonless, the night she mourned for the man that sacrificed his life, when she was pulled into a dark alleyway and bitten.
It has now been a year since her sire, and now friend, turned her, and she has been learning of the ongoing war. Once a warrior, she now uses her god given talent for battle against the enemy race. At 5' 11" Artemis Darkheart strikes fear and awe into men and women alike. Her waist length blonde hair flows down her back in golden waves. Her Unnaturally green eyes are those of her maker and a sign that she is of the gods. Usually dressed in blood red leather, Artemis Darkheart is truly a one of a kind warrior. She will stop at nothing to see her kind victorious in this war.
