Character description
Stray grinned eerily, stepping from the shadows of the chruch, waiting for the perfect human to take. The wind kicked up, yet only for a second and her dirty blonde hair twitched slightly. It was messy anyway and covered her left, light green eye nicely. She always hated that eye because of the little brown splotch on it. Her other one was a beautiful shade of dark green. Stray's eyes flashed for a moment as she looked up toward the star-streaked sky. She had always loved the night and that didn't change when she was transformed by an elder.
It had been a dark night. She had been leaving church at night and a man followed her until there were no people in sight. She turned to face him and started to run down the street toward her home...anyones home...just as long as it was inside and away from him. Stray turned back to look at him; his eyes were so memorizing, but she turned away and ran. Appearing before her, he grabbed her and put her once again under the trace. She was lost in her own body...in the blackness and unable to get out. He took her to his home and into a room with a lovely bed. "Are you ready," he asked. She didn't even know what she was saying, but she replied, "Ready for what?" In her head, she screamed at herself. She had no control. "To become one of us," he said with a wicked grin. As soon as his fangs peirced her soft flesh, she screamed out and awoke from her trance. She wriggled, but he had her in his grasp. Soon, her fighting grew weak...she was loosing. "Your beautiful heart," the man began, "It's fading fast...but you will continue on...as long...as you drink." He slit his wrist and held it to Stray, who wanted it, oddly enough. She took it without question and greedily sucked at his wrist until he ripped it away. Her body burned and she screamed out in agony, but the elder just walked out of the room. Her vision blured and she felt as though her body was collaping.
