Ever since her birth, Kurayami was born with onyx black eyes and snow-colored hair. Kurayami's mother and father had both died when she was a little girl. No one in the village would take of Kurayami because of the way she looked. When she turned twenty, Kurayami fled her village. During her travels, a band of thieves attacked, raped, and left Kurayami for dead. Watching her life slowly fade away, a lone shadow stood over her pale body. The shadow then walked into the moonlight and was revealed to be the werewolf known as Yugure. Yugure knelt down and asked Kurayami if she wanted to take her pain away. Kurayami agreed to the she-wolf's proposal. Yugure swiftly bit down into Kurayami's flesh. A searing pain erupted throughout her entire body, which made Kurayami drift into unconscious. The next morning, Kurayami awoke as a newly born werewolf: forever young and deadly.
