Wether Sidon be his real name none know. What is known, is his origins, and how he recieved that name. During the time of the ancient greeks, the god Hades had spawned 5 vampiric demons in defiance of his brother Zeus's wishes. His purpose, was for the demons to wreak havoc upon mortals, all for Hade's personal amusement. These 5 vampires were known as Belos the Destroyer, Baphomet the Prince, The Twins of Seduction Beloth and Belom, and Ba'al the Insane. Each of these demons lived up to their names. Belos, and Ba'al wanted nothing more than to dominate everything mortal, though that is where their similarities ended. While Belos preferred a head-on approach of simply slaughtering and feeding upon his enemies, Ba'al enjoyed instilling fear into the hearts of his enemies using bizarre rituals and murders, before moving in for the kill. The twins however, always dwelled together, and preferred living in the shadows, silently seducing man and women alike into dark corners of the earth, promising days and nights of pleasure, only to have the mortal's necks ripped apart by the demon's fangs. Then there is Baphomet. Some say he is the incarnation of the purely evil and malevolent side of Hades, while others believe he is just another demon bent on Man's destruction. Whatever he was, only he and Hades knew. Baphomet was the eldest of the demons, and resided with authority over them. His word was law, second to that of Hades himself. This soon changed however. Zeus himself had sent many warriors over the years to conquer the demons and often failed, until one fateful day. The 5 demons had been summoned by Hades for instructuions, and they travelled to his hellish domain, only to find Hades gone, and Zeus waiting for them. Chaos and bloodshed ensued, and in the end, only Baphomet and Zeus remained. Baphomet then fled to the oceans edge, and then seemingly disappeared into the waters. Zeus then sent the god of the waters, Posiedon, to deal with the abomination. After many years searching, Posiedon found Baphomet hiding on the remote Isle of Snakes, Malta, battered and weak. In the following battle, Posiedon accomplished his task by impailing Baphomet on his trident, but not before Baphomet at sunken his fangs into Posiedon's arm. Posiedon knew the viral affects of the demon's bite, but through his arrogance of thinking that his being a god prevented such an infection, he thought nothing of it, and in the end, he was perhaps half-right. Many, many years later, Posiedon's mortal lover, Hisistria, was with child. Overjoyed, Posiedon and his lover returned to the ocean to make ready for the child's arrival. On the voyage to Posiedon's Isle however, his wife started to have contraptions and seizure-like fits. She then fell from Posiedon's arms into the Great Ocean. When Posiedon dived into the waters to find his wife, he found nothing, as if she had completely disappeared. After and infinite time of searching, he gave in to defeat and left. It is then said, that many more years later, that a child was found on an island in the Great Sea. The child was alone, and its skin was a ghostly pale, with eyes red as blood. The child's only birthmark, was a small black pentegram, seemingly burned into the center of the child's forehead. This chilld was rescued, and raised in an orphanage. When the child was brought about to the age of puberty, many changes took place, but the most obvious being a set of fangs developing in his mouth. At that point, the child being without name, suddenly spoke the word: Sidon. This startled the orphanage elders, but they then thought nothing of it, and started calling the young man that name: SIdon.. After that however, Sidon seemed to exhibit extreme hate towards everyone and everything in his surroundings. His only calming seemed to be the sea. One day however, a great storm struck the land, and a gigantic ocean wave rose up and crushed the orphanage. Upon examination, no remains of anyone or anything were found in the wreckage. However, on some nights, witnesess have sworn they had seen a dark figure by the water's edge, feasting on the body of one of the Orphanage's caretakers....In reality, Sidon created the wave that destroyed the orphanage, and now roams the land, with an insatiable appettite for blood and carnage, doing all of this, while remaining close to a body of water, for reason's even he cant exlplain....
