Founded after a chess game on the crag of Shadows Bluff, the clan has thrived on the darkness. For five hundred years the clan has lived undetected by the people that live in the low lands of the villages around Shadows Bluff.

Raids on the small villages were attributed to the wolves that lived in the small forests to the south, but as the clan grew the raids became more frequent and more aggressive; the clan had to move further afield to feed and risk exposing themselves to unnecessary danger from rival clans and the wrath of armed villagers.

Cities began to grow from the small villages and brought a new enemy with them; Vampires.

The League of Shadows, who prior to the Vampires insurrection had no dealings with the Nosferatu, now had a problem on their hands. The Vampires began attacking lone members of The League of Shadows that ventured too far from Shadows Bluff. In order to survive change was called for, Shiboo, clan leader called for warriors to come forward and lead small parties in raids against their Vampire foes, creating a distraction whilst the rest of the clan went to feed. For the past two hundred years the war between the Vampires and Werewolves has continued and now the League of Shadows numbers have dwindled so only the strongest now survive.



The League of Shadows, now small but by no means weak, is looking to take in stray Werewolves who are in need of a quest, direction, a bed for the night and company in immortality. Werewolves should be advised that they should be honest with their brothers in the clan and will toil as hard as the rest, will answer the call to battle and defend their fellow Shadows in the face of any danger may it be irate villagers or the most hated of Vampires.
