The Underworld was established July 13, 2006. The entire Kingdom is ruled under the Camarilla System, the oldest Political and Social body founded in Europe 600 years ago.
INTRODUCTION
Once, vampires walked openly among mortals. They did not flaunt their nature, but they did not hide it either. The Camarilla is the invention of a treaty founded after the Dark Ages that was a result of the Inquisition and Burning Times that destroyed many of the Kindred.
The Camarilla is a political and social body to which Brujah, Gangrel, Malkavian, Nosferatu, Toreador, Tremere and Ventrue belong.
Formed 600 years ago in Europe, it is based on a system of laws to hide vampiric existence from the eyes of mortals; these laws are known as The Traditions, the system of hiding their existence is called the Masquerade. The Path of Humanity is the basis of the Camarilla,
one of the central points where they differ with the Sabbat.
THE SIX TRADITIONS
The First Tradion: The Masquerade
Thou shall not reveal thy true nature to those not of the blood.
Doing such shall renounce thy claims of blood.
The Second Tradition: The Domain
Thy domain is thine own concern.
All others owe thee respect while in it.
None may challenge.
The Third Tradition: The Progeny
Thou shall only Sire another with the permission of thine elder.
If thou createst another without thine Elders leave, both thou and thy progeny shall be slain.
The Fourth Tradition: The Accounting
Those thou create are thine own children.
Untill thy Progeny shall be Released,
thou shall command them in all things.
Their sins are thine to endure.
The Fifth Tradition: Hospitality
Honor one anothers domain.
When thou comest to a foreign city,
thou shall present thyself to the one who ruleth there.
Without the word of acceptance, thou art nothing.
The Sixth Tradition: Destruction
Thou art forbidden to destroy another of thy kind.
The right of destruction belongeth only to thine elder.
Only the eldest among thee shall call the Blood Hunt.
THE GOVERNMENT
The Underworld is composed of two major groups:
The Royals; and
The Commoners
The Royals
The Royals are composed of the members of the Royal Family. They help hand-in-hand together with the commoners to maintain peace and order.
The Commoners
The Commoners are the non-members of the Royal Family. The commoners are priveledged either to be of service to the Kingdom or live fully on their own.
The Kingdom shall be ruled by the eldest member of the Royal Family.
The King / The Queen
Is the ruler of a kingdom, usually the oldest and most powerful vampire in the area. All owe him/her respect and deference, for he/she is the law and the face of the Camarilla. The King / The Queen is ideally supported by The Royal Council, also known as The Inner Circle.
While the eldest member of the Royal Family is on duty, the rest of the members of the Family has to perform their respective Royal Duites as follows:
The Keeper of the Elyssium
The aide of the ruler and the one who is in-charge of the Masquerade.
The Regent or Seneschal
Is charged with ruling the city while the Ruler is out of town.
The Royal Council / The Inner Circle
The Royal Council or the Inner Circle is composed of seven members from the Royal Family. They will be responsible in discussing with the ruler the current issues in the government.
The Justicar
Liable for all the external and internal defense of the whole Kingdom, with the help of his Archorns.
